Congratulations to Waukee High School and Clarinda Community A, Champions of the 2015 Iowa State History Bowl!  Our competition was held on Saturday, March 21 at Waukee High School and featured 11 teams in action.  Bishop Heelan and Oskaloosa finished as the respective runners up.

On the Bee side, congratulations to Noah Madrigal of Bellevue East, Champion of the 2015 Iowa State History Bee!  Cade Solivan finished as the runner up and was the top JV performer, leading the field with a score of 25 in two preliminary rounds.

Many thanks to Mr. Preston Nicholson for directing our tournament and to Waukee and Mr. Jay Winter for hosting.  We hope that those who qualified will be able to join us for our National Championships in Washington, DC and Arlington, VA on April 24-26, 2015. Thanks to everyone who came for a great day of history quiz competition!
