Congratulations to Baton Rouge Magnet, Champion of the 2015 Louisiana State History Bowl!  Our competition was held on Saturday, February 21 at Zachary High School and featured 17 teams in action from throughout the state and surrounding region.  Baton Rouge and Dutchtown both entered the championship match undefeated and separated by 10.5 points-per-game.  Baton Rouge won each quarter en route to the 310-160 victory.

On the Bee side, congratulations to Wesley Swain of University Laboratory, Champion of the 2015 Louisiana History Bee in a 6-5 final over Leo Ray of Baton Rouge Magnet! Stefan D’Sa of Baton Rouge Magnet was the high scorer in the preliminary rounds, and his teammate Mason Guillot was the highest JV finisher.

Many thanks to Mr. Ryan Southall and Zachary High School for hosting our tournament.  We hope that those who qualified will be able to join us for our National Championships in Washington, DC and Arlington, VA on April 24-26, 2015. Thanks to everyone who came for a great day of history quiz competition!
