The National History Bee and Bowl is pleased to announce that its 2018 Mid-Atlantic History Bee and Bowl Regional Championships will be held at Princeton University on Saturday, March 10. The exact location of the opening meeting (as well as logistics on parking, etc.) will be conveyed to registered teams in the week prior to the tournament. This tournament will as always, be run on our A Set of questions. This tournament does not require prior qualifying and is open to all teams and students who have not yet played our A Set of questions. For further details and questions, please contact the Tournament Coordinator, Shravan Balaji, at shravan@historybowl.com. Thanks, and we hope that you and your team will be able to join us!

Note: During the lunch break, we will offer the National Qualifying Exams for the US Geography Olympiad / International Geography Bee (one exam serves to qualify students for the National Championships of both competitions) and the US History Bee. Both exams cost $10 and can be signed up for on the day of the tournament; pre-registration is not required. Students planning on taking one exam are recommended not to leave during the lunch break (they can bring a lunch or have a teammate get lunch for them). Students planning on taking both exams should definitely plan on staying at the school for lunch.

This tournament will also include a dedicated Middle School division! If you have students in the 8th Grade or below who wish to participate in the Bee and/or the Bowl at this tournament, please feel free to register them as Middle Schoolers.
