Eastern Washington State

Congratulations to St. George’s School for being the champions of the inaugural 2013 Eastern Washington History Bowl! Our competition, held on Saturday, January 19 at Mt. Spokane High School featured 10 teams, a great initial turnout for a new tournament. Thanks to Phi Alpha Theta of Gonzaga University for directing the tournament and to Luke Thomas and Mt. Spokane High School for hosting. Thanks as well to Jeff Kreifels, our Washington Outreach Director, for his assistance in making the tournament happen, and to the The National Society of The Colonial Dames of America in the State of Washington for their continued support.
We hope to see all teams who qualified at our National Championships in Washington, DC and Arlington, VA on April 27-28, and also we hope all schools will join us at either our Northern Idaho History Bee and Bowl in Troy, ID on Feb. 16 or at our Washington History Bee and Bowl State Championships at Klahowya in Silverdale on that same day.
Thanks to all teams who came for a great tournament!
