Congratulations to Bellarmine College Prep A (Sameer Rai playing solo) and to Saratoga C for being the respective Varsity and JV Champions of the Northern California Fall History Bowl! Thanks to Saratoga High School for hosting our tournament on December 2 and to Jeff Hoppes for directing it. Thanks also to Larissa Kelly and Ankit Aggarwal for helping to staff, and to Berkeley Quizbowl for the use of a buzzer system. Congratulations as well to Saratoga for making the Varsity final, to Bellarmine for making the JV finals, and to the four other Varsity teams who qualified for Nationals, either through their record, or through a playoff win. We hope to see all teams who qualified at our National Championships, and we hope all teams will also attend our two other Northern California tournaments at Mira Loma on February 16 in Sacramento, and San Leandro on March 2!
