10 teams joined the hosts from the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts in Natchitoches, LA for the 2013 Northern Louisiana History Bowl. Six teams played a single round robin in the Varsity division while five teams did likewise with a bye in the junior varsity division. The junior varsity teams from Airline finished in first and third, while Minden took the second spot and Winnfield Middle rounded out the field. In the varsity division, the winning team was Baton Rouge Magnet. Airline was second, Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts third and St. Mary’s fourth.
Thanks to Mark Ward and LSMSA for hosting, as well as Mike Landry of St. Mary’s High for directing! We hope to see all of the qualified teams at our national championship on April 27-28 in Arlington, VA and Washington, D.C.!
