Oklahoma

In a day of upsets, fifth-seeded Santa Fe B prevailed at the 2013 Oklahoma History Bowlheld at Edmond Memorial High School on February 16, 2013. In the quarterfinal stage, Sterling qualified for our national championships on April 27-28 in Arlington, VA and Washington, DC by throwing their 1-4 preliminary record out the proverbial window and overturning top-seeded Claremore 250-240. Hosts Memorial A had an easier time of it, beating Plainview in their quarterfinal. Santa Fe A narrowly avoided an upset against Oklahoma Christian A, 260-220. Santa Fe ended Sterling’s run at the semifinal stage; Memorial beat cross-town rival Santa Fe A to set up the final against Santa Fe B, but couldn’t win the title on home ground, losing 260-180.

Thanks to Greg Oppel and Memorial High School for hosting! We hope to see all of our qualified teams at the national championships this April!
