International Academic Competitions is delighted to announce the opening of registrations for the 2018 Varsity & JV National History Bee and Bowl, US Geography Olympiad, and Intl. Geography Bee National Championships – as well as for the 2018 International History Olympiad and the 2018 International Geography Bee World Championships! Please see below for further details on each event:

2018 National History Bee & Bowl (incl. US History Bee), US Geography Olympiad, Intl. Geography Bee Varsity & Junior Varsity National Championships – April 27-29, Arlington, Virginia and Washington, DC

The Varsity and JV National Championships of the National History Bee and Bowl, US History Bee, US Geography Olympiad, International Geography Bee, and the National Sports and Entertainment History Bee will all take place on the weekend of April 27-29 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, Virginia and Washington, DC.

Registration is available here through April 7 for the History Bowl and April 14 for all individual events.

2018 International History Olympiad – July 14-22, Berlin, Germany
The International History Olympiad is a 9 day long event held every two years in the summer – in 2018, the Olympiad will take place in Berlin. It features numerous competitions (both buzzer-based and non-buzzer-based), many sightseeing opportunities, special events, and the chance to meet other top history students from around the world. Registration for the Olympiad can be done here for both students and participating family members, friends, and coaches.
Registration will run through the end of June, but the prices and space in the youth hostel posted on the Olympiad website are only guaranteed to the first 130 students who register by April 10. Otherwise, the price may rise, and space may need to be found in a different hostel for students registering after April 10.

2018 International Geography Bee World Championships – July 11-17, Berlin, Germany
The International Geography Bee World Championships is a week-long event held every two years in the summer in conjunction with the Olympiad. Like the Olympiad, it also features numerous competitions (both buzzer-based and non-buzzer-based), sightseeing opportunities, special events, and of course the chance to meet other top geography students from around the world. Registration for the IGB World Championships can be done here for both students and participating family members, friends, and coaches.
