For this week's Friends and Family Friday, I wanted to showcase a photo sent in by a family of a group of our (now) JV division players at a recent tournament. Haughton Neppl (VA), Parker Jelke (FL), Padraig Finan (WA) and Grady Noble (ID) have been playing with us for years, and are all in the same grade. They play each other in person and online, and have made friends with each other over the years, helping each other with strategy and support at other competitions. These kids are some of the nicest kids who play for us, and it's been so great to see their friendships and connections grow through the years. They'll be competing against each other in our upcoming Varsity and Junior Varsity National Championships, and I personally cannot wait to see them all play!
Just remember boys, no bloodshed (it's hard to get out of the carpets!) and you are all awesome players in your respective subjects!

Varsity and Junior Varsity National Championships are scheduled for the last weekend in April in Arlington VA. Good luck to all coming!

For our players who celebrate…
IAC had the honor of offering the first National Geography Bee at a @dodea_europe School at Landstuhl Elementary School On Tuesday April 9th, 2024! Executive Director David Madden worked with teacher Wendy Pealo and her team to put together a wonderful, during the school day, Geography Bee for grades 3-5 for the kids to qualify for either European Nationals or the US Nationals, and also work toward qualifying for the International Geography Championships in Vienna! With 26 students qualifying for both, these students are sharp! We cannot wait to see how they do on an international stage! #geobee #geographybee #internationalgeographychampionships @landstuhl_elem

A special shoutout to all our moderators, but especially those we dub “the Amherst crew”!
