Houghton Mifflin Harcourt

Congratulations to Richard Montgomery High School and St. Anselm’s Abbey School for winning the Varsity and Junior Varsity divisions of our Washington DC History Bowl, held on November 22 at St. Anselm’s Abbey School in Washington, DC. Centennial High School finished as runners-up in both divisions. Longfellow Middle School finished as the best middle school team.

Thank you to Hajnalka Enzel and St. Anselm’s for hosting, Eric Xu and Brett Weinstein for assistant directing, and to all of our parents and coaches who volunteered to read and staff.

We hope all teams consider joining us for our Northern Virginia tournament on January 19 at Mount Vernon High School, our Capital Region Championship in March at Centennial High School in Ellicott City, and our 2015 National Championships in Washington, DC and Arlington, VA on April 24-26. Thanks for a great day of history quiz competition to all who came and played or assisted with the tournament!
