(Rhodes, Greece – August 26, 2014) Welcome to the fifth anniversary year of The National History Bee and Bowl! At the high school level, we’re gearing up for our biggest and best competition year to date. Aside from over 100 Regional and State level tournaments, at all of which you and your team can qualify for our National Championships, we’re going to be expanding the US History Bee, which debuted last school year, greatly expanding our outreach efforts, and most important of all – launching the inaugural International History Olympiad from July 9-15, 2015 at the College of William and Mary in historic Williamsburg, Virginia. Hundreds of students have already qualified for the Olympiad through their performances at our 2014 National Championships, but everyone will get another shot at our 2015 National Championshpis, to be held on Friday-Sunday, April 24-26, 2015 in Arlington, Virginia and Washington, DC.

Additionally, we are in the process of redesigning our websites (including consolidating the High School Bee and Bowl websites into one), and we expect our new website to go online in early October, so be on the lookout for that. As always, have a look on the website for information on tournaments which are updated on a continual basis as tournaments get scheduled and registrations come in. If you have any questions, please contact director@historybowl.com Good luck in the 2014-15 competition year, and we hope to see you at one of our many tournaments soon!
